Those two compilations present us a series of bands of the last group of releases.
" Space & Art from Hungary " presents us sensational surprises. He/she/you begins with the good instrumental of D Sound with " Budafok ". the band You and I will please the old admirers of Yes, a beautiful song.
Colorstar in the display a progressive one very modern with touches of electronic music. Mindflowers makes an instrumental one quite leaning in a guitar fusion.
After@All is excellent. It presents us a prog-metal, very modern, it will please Dream Theater admirers or Tool, for instance, with until some advantage for the Hungarians.
Kada is of those bands fusion, almost " bossa-nova ". THE Mini introduces one more instrumental very good, with 70's keyboards. Tóth Bagi Band presents us Old Love, a beautiful pop ballad, with great vocal.
Korai Öröm incorporates progressive music, electronic music and a good percussion. The cd closes up with the already known After Crying, accompanied by orchestra with a fantastic interpretation of Enigma and Struggle it goes Life II, extraordinary!!!
The cd " Folk-world-Ethno From Hungary " is a very strange cd for me that am a specialist in rock to speak something deeper, but I can guarantee that sounds me very well. The Hungarian regional music is quite associated with what we called music-gypsy. It is a quite rich culture.
It is music with many violins played in an impressive speed and the times flutes remembering Jethro Tull vaguely.
The bands that more I liked they were Bokros Ensemble, Dongó, Düvö, Vasmalom, Ultramarin (That does a very modern, almost pop sound) and Sebestyén Marta (with a beautiful version of Greensleeves).
I recommend the cd for anybody interested of expanding the musical horizons, with quality music, that is a characteristic of Periferic Records.
