This is a posthumous solo album by István cziglán, who used to be guitarist with Solaris, one of Hungary’s premier progressive rock bands. I have to say that this is a wonderful looking release, being fold out digipack in a slip case, it is just a shame that all of the words are in Hungarian, as I get the impression that a lot of care has been takem over this. Apparently the guys from Solaris tidied up some of the uncompleted ideas, but otherwise the music has been left untouched as they did not want to make this just another Solaris album.
It opened with „Personal Gravity”, which at over 17 minutes in length is easiest song on the album, although the title song does also creep in at over 10 minutes. It is mostly an instrumental album, with voices being used more as instruments instead of being main focal points. There is also quite a lot of different styles with keyboards much more to the fore than one would expect on an album from a guitarist. Although there are touches of folk, there is not much to point to this being an album from Eastern Europe. Overall a very interesting album, with some good musical ideas, and one that can be listened to many times, finding more on each hearing.
