PERIFERIC XMAS CONCERT

We kindly invite you to the CONCERT OF THE YEAR!
This year we could not organize the „September 11” concert for several reasons, so we decided to make another concert this XMas, featuring the same 3 prog-bands: KADA, FUGATO and AFTER CRYING, who have never played at the same event before! This PERIFERIC XMAS CONCERT will be on 23 December, in Budapest. Venue is Petőfi Csarnok, and the huge 4,5 hour-long show starts at 6 pm. The show will be recorded for a DVD to be released in the near future.

KADA plays jazzy-prog music of a very high standard, that the international progressive and underground music press considers their compositions and performance the mixtures of Frank Zappa’s, David Thorn’s, King Crimson’s and Soft Machine’s music. Their new album (Ohoáé) was released in July.

FUGATO is a real symphonic-rock orchestra of 24 (!) young musicians, and the blending of symphonic instruments with drums, bass guitar and synthesizer makes the instrumentation unique in their music. Their fist album was released in October.

AFTER CRYING’s name is well-known for prog-music lovers all around the world. International music press considers them to be the best sympho-progressive rock band of the world today. This year they’ve been awarded by the „eMeRTon Award” (the highest music agnition of the Hungarian Radio) for their life-work.
