Discipline is one of those extremely exciting progressive rock band, coming out of the States at the moment, and Discipline is one of those which is going to make it big. They play very progressive music, which is dangerous and exciting, harkening back to the past but very much looking to the future. After the release of their first CD, Push & Profit, Discipline played numerous shows throughout the U.S., sharing the bills with new and established artists such as Ozric Tentacles, Steve Howe of Yes, Anekdoten, and Echolyn. Discipline has been featured on radio shows in Europe and North and South America, and the band toured in Norway. In Europe, they are represented exclusively by Stereo Kft - Periferic Records, Hungary. Just check out the latest reviews about their live CD, everybody is just blown away by them. Discipline’s latest studio CD, Unfolded Like Staircase, boasts three fifteen-minute songs including the brilliant Canto IV (Limbo), as well as a twenty-two minute epic entitled Into the Dream. Discipline has become a mainstay of the international movement known as progressive rock together with bands like King Crimson, ELP and Yes. A few dozen radio shows around the world, and an equal number of prog-oriented publications have found in Discipline an unflinching anti-commercialism and dedication to song-writing worthy of praise and respect.
Paul Dzendzel - drums, percussions
Matthew Kennedy - bass
Jon Preston Bouda - guitar
Matthew Parmenter - vocal, guitar, violin, synth, sax
