The 'Angels' rock group from Szeged performed for the first time in Budapest in 1975, in the most popular concert venue, the Youth Park. During this period, even among the members of the band, we can find the color-goodness of the Hungarian jazz life.
From the second half of the seventies, the band moved to Budapest, and their instrumental symphonic jazz rock music was a great success. Unfortunately, a complete album from this era did not survive, because the State Record Company Hungaroton refused to release music without a singer. In 1979, they appeared on the "Közgáz" club's program Rockreflektor, and soon became one of the permanent bands of the Youth Park. Their first single (Sirens, The Voices of Reality) was released in 1980. On November 15, 1979, the ensemble was expanded with a new member, the singer Miklós Zareczky.
Their first album was released in the fall of 1981, featuring a lyrical version of their previous rock suite. The Games, published as the first publication of the MHV Start editorial office, was a great success not only at home, but also abroad, especially in Japan.
The album ‘Games’ is the gem, a real pearl of symphonic progressive rock music.
