Qango consists of Carl Palmer (Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Atomic Rooster, ELP, Asia) on drums and percussion,John Wetton (King Crimson, Roxy Music, UK, Asia) on bass guitar and lead vocal, John Young on keyboards and harmony vocal, with Dave Kilminster on guitars and harmony vocal. The band formed in 1999 when a proposed Asia reunion fell apart. The remit being, to perform Asia classics mixed up with some ELP, Wetton solo material and new songs. This cd consists of recordings from two of a handful of gigs the band played in November 1999 in England. The set includes versions of ELP's "Bitches Crystal" and "Fanfare For The Common Man", Asia's "Heat Of The Moment", "Time Again" and "Sole Survivor", with Wetton's "The Last One Home".
