All the piano works of László Dubrovay were played on disc by the Liszt Prize-winning pianist János Balázs. The publication is a real curiosity, the piano works of our composer, also known as the Artist of the Nation, have never been published before.
“Throughout my career, I have been working from the very beginning to follow in the footsteps of my predecessors Liszt, Bartók and Kodály, combining musical elements from Hungarian traditions with the latest composing techniques, sound research results and new playing possibilities of musical instruments. So I tried to create a new musical language with a custom sound. A significant part of my works were recorded on radio, in addition, my compositions were published on 12 author's and 39 different CDs under the care of Hungaroton and foreign publishers. ”
János Balázs' demands and humility for music guarantee the highest artistic value for the audience. His concerts are surrounded by loud success. When we listen to the CD we will not only be part of a momentary experience, but we can take a lasting value with us.
