„Utazólevél” „Travelling Papers” roams the imagined world of the legendary 19th century Hungarian outlaws. The adventures of outlaws such as Bogár Imre, Vidróczki Márton, Sobri Jóska, Fábián Pista, Rózsa Sándor, Fehér László, Juhász András – have been immortalized in Hungarian folklore and the songs here bring their stories to life. By changing the instrumentation for the Hungarian folk songs or through the help of compositions by J. J. Cale, Bob Marley and Sting, we create an atmosphere to accompany our outlaw heroes along the various stations of their lives. The songs tell stories of being orphaned in childhood, young love, and running away from involuntary recruitment following the Hungarians’ unsuccessful fight for freedom in the mid 19th century. Their life outside the law inevitably forced our rogues into more and more dangerous pranks, prison, escape and ultimately the hangman’s noose." – Albert Mohácsy
