This album includes a selection of the compositions written for the dance theatre performance “For Ever and Ever” of the Duna Art Ensemble. The pieces, composed following an invitation by choreographer Zsolt Juhász, in addition to serving their purpose as a theatrical application, also reflect our musical-artistic approach.

An essence of the more than 10 years of creative cooperation of the composer-duo Szokolay Dongó Balázs - Bolya Mátyás can be heard on this CD; all compositions were written for dance-theatre application. The boundaries of classical music and folk music, and those of applied and classical composing seem to fade gradually nowadays. These compositions, inspired by folk music, preserve and breathe new life into the melody lines polished by the centuries with their daring orchestration and the lively improvisations.
