Micheller Myrtill graduated from Franz Liszt Academy of Music as a jazz singer in 1999. But since 1993 she has been working continuously, singing a very wide variety of Jazz and Pop styles. She has been a member of the popular Bergendy group, later she joined the Ungár Band. She has provided background vocals for a lot of pop stars, contributing to more than fourty projects. Just to name a few: Hevesi Tamás, Zoltán Erika, Roy és Ádám, United, Animal Cannibals, Cserháti Zsuzsa, TNT, Náksi & Brunner, Gerendás Péter and Benkó Dixieland Band. The next important step forward in her career was to sing the vocal parts for the score of the television classic "Meseautó" (DreamCar) in 2000. Much of the music from the film was also released on a CD also featuring the Escape Band. The CD release was followed by a tour around the country. In 2003 she joined the crew of the popular talent search TV show "Megasztár" as one of the vocal coaches. Myrtill with her own band released a record in 2004 entitled "I Just Found Out About Love". The record mainly consists of evergreens from the swing-era, arranged by Révész Richárd and Nagy Péter. The bonus track is today’s music, courtesy of the Backstreet Boys, but in a unique, tasty jazz arrangement. In 2006 she has submitted her entry to the "Voice and Guitar" international duet competition held in Germany. /www.voice-and-guitar.com/ This entry, where she cooperated with guitarist Tibor Pintér has managed to be in the best eight entries out of fifty five. The same duet material made it onto a CD called SAME AS YOU (2006). The repertoire is very colorful due to unusual musical pieces. Besides her own group, she has been a member of many temporary formations, as it is usual in jazz. She was also permanent guest of the SZALÓKY CLASSIC JAZZ BAND which played main stream swing music from the fifties and sixties. In 2000 she formed the seven piece band AVOCALDO which performed autentich and popular latin music. Her pop career was defined by the band "ENJOY" which was formed in 2002 for the purpose of singing the temperamental songs of today’s adult contemporary music. Also she was a member of the cabaret show "OOPS" performed by the Merlin Theatre. Myrtill performed regularly with the funk group "COOL MINERS". Since 2004 Myrtill appears as a guest of the famous BENKÓ DIXIELAND BAND. Also in 2006, she can be seen in the RTL TV show "Szombat Esti Láz" (Saturday Night Fever) in front of the BORDER GUARD ORCHESTRA, which, by the way, celebrated its 60th year of existence. In the summer of 2006 she has won 3rd place in the "Lady Summertime" jazz singer contest in Finland. She got the role of the diva Tiger in the musical Dr BUBÓ written by the famous Bolyki Brothers, presented in 2007.
